Dr. Jeffrey Whitener is a board certified emergency medicine physician. He grew up in Clemson, South Carolina and attended the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York in 2016. During his training, Dr. Whitener founded the Wilderness Medicine Interest Group and was awarded Most Outstanding Resident. Following residency, he moved to Mobile, AL to be near family and for the much desired southern living. Dr. Whitener enjoys spending his free time outdoors and is happily married with two young daughters.
Dr. Geoffrey Odom is a board certified emergency medicine physician. He grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and also lived for several years in North Carolina. He attended Louisiana State University, New Orleans School of Medicine. He completed residency at Louisiana State University, New Orleans Medical Center. Over the years, he has held several positions as a physician in emergency departments, urgent care, and occupational health. He has worked in Louisiana, Texas, and Florida prior to moving to Mobile, where he lives with his wife and daughter. He harbors a passion for global health and has traveled to Central and South America for several mission trips over the years.
Dr. Lauren Day is a board certified emergency medicine physician. She grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University, New Orleans School of Medicine. She completed residency at the University of Alabama, Birmingham in 2016. During her training, Dr. Day helped to start the Women in Emergency Medicine Interest Group, and was awarded the Outstanding Pediatrics Award. She practiced for four years in Birmingham before moving to Spanish Fort, AL where she lives with her husband and two children. Dr. Day enjoys cooking and outdoor activities as well as traveling.
